We are looking for a preschool teacher on a temporary basis at Föräldrakooperativet Illbattingen!

Do you thrive in a role where present and engaged educators are the most important tool for children's learning and development? Then we might be looking for you to strengthen our team!

Parent Cooperative Illbattingen was founded in 1994 in Utby and is an established preschool with a welcoming atmosphere. Here, seven educators and a principal work together. The group consists of 27 children divided into two departments: Groddarna (1–3 years) and Solrosen (3–6 years). As a cooperative, the operations are also run by a parent group consisting of various working groups and a board that, among other things, is responsible for the preschool's finances and support in daily operations.

As a preschool teacher with us, you work together with other preschool teachers and childcare assistants to create a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment for our children's learning and development. We work with the child in focus in a dynamic environment filled with engagement, security, and joy. Your approach, drive, and presence are crucial for the children's security and development.

A large and important part of the job involves being actively present in children's play and learning, both indoors and outdoors. As a preschool teacher, you have pedagogical responsibility for ensuring that education and teaching take place based on our guiding documents, that planning and reflection are carried out based on the children's needs and interests, and that these guide the direction of the work forward. Outdoor play is an important building block in our daily lives, and we go out every day regardless of the weather, where you inspire movement, play, and learning.

We are looking for you who are a qualified preschool teacher for a temporary position due to studies at 80% for six months, with the possibility of extension. Experience in the profession is meritorious. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and work well with others by listening, showing interest, and respecting both colleagues, children, and parents. You have a genuine interest in people and contribute to a positive atmosphere through your approach. We see that you as an applicant are engaged and driven and dare to take initiative. Since communication and documentation are important tools in our pedagogical daily life, it is important that you master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

With us, you become part of an engaged work team where collaboration, participation, and development are in focus. We value a sustainable work environment where every employee is given good conditions to thrive and make a difference.

We offer a secure employment with a collective agreement via Fremia, which among other things means occupational pension and insurance according to the collective agreement. As an employee, you also receive a wellness allowance, shoe allowance, and free pedagogical meals. We believe that good working conditions and care for our employees create the best conditions for a long-term and sustainable working life.

Feedback and interviews will begin in early August. Employment according to agreement.
