We are now seeking dedicated assistant nurses with additional competence and interest in specialized rehabilitation for our Stroke Department at Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna.

About Us

Our focus lies on early rehabilitation and safe, person-centered care. The Stroke Department is a specialized care unit with 14 beds. This autumn, we will open 4 new beds at the Stroke Department with a focus on intensive rehabilitation. The team will consist of assistant nurses, registered nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and doctors working in a team.

Our goal is to provide each patient with the best possible conditions for recovery and as independent a life as possible.

Your Responsibilities

As an assistant nurse, you play a vital role in the patient's recovery. Among other things, you will:

• Work with daily nursing care and mobilization of patients
• Support patients in their rehabilitation according to individual care plans
• Actively participate in team work regarding the patient's goals and progress
• Document and follow up on interventions
• Create a sense of security and motivation for patients and their relatives

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained assistant nurse
• Has experience in rehabilitation, neurology, or stroke care (meritorious)
• Has a genuine interest in rehabilitation and person-centered care
• Is responsible, flexible, and has good teamwork skills
• Can work independently but thrives in a team
