Job Description

As the Team Leader for the Painting Department, you have overall responsibility for leading and developing the daily operations with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. You work closely with the team and create engagement through clear and coaching leadership. Your main areas of responsibility: • Lead, distribute, and follow up on daily work in the department • Ensure staffing, resource allocation, and production planning (short and medium term) • Set goals, follow up on key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive improvements • Initiate and implement improvement work (e.g., according to Lean and 5S principles) • Handle deviations and work with root cause analysis • Collaborate closely with production, assembly, and logistics for an efficient flow • Ensure a safe and secure working environment, including chemical handling

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a confident and engaged leader with experience from production environments, preferably within manufacturing industry or surface treatment. You have a documented ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams, as well as a good understanding of planning and resource management in an operational business. You combine clear and present leadership with strong structure and a drive to improve both working methods and results. You thrive in a role where you are given responsibility, make decisions, and work close to the operations. To succeed in the role, we see that you have: • Experience leading teams in production and developing employees • Good ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work • Experience with production control and capacity planning • Knowledge of Lean or similar improvement methods • Good understanding of quality, working environment, and safety work • Experience with production systems and planning tools • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Hammar offers you: At Hammar, you will encounter an entrepreneurial culture with strong engagement and a focus on development.
