Police Region West
Police Region West consists of Halland County and Västra Götaland County. The operations in the region are organized into five police districts: Fyrbodal, Halland, Skaraborg, Greater Gothenburg, and Älvsborg, which together are divided into 16 local police districts. Additionally, there are three regional units: the operational unit, the intelligence unit, and the investigation unit, a regional office, as well as national departments represented in the region to support police operations.
The Local Police District of Greater Gothenburg Northeast is part of the Greater Gothenburg Police District. Within the local police district, there are intervention and crime prevention operations, investigation groups, as well as support and services.

Job Responsibilities
You are based in Greater Gothenburg Northeast but are tasked with working on both the local police district's and the Greater Gothenburg Police District's problem areas. The assignments are varied and will span the entire operational area, such as intervention operations, crime prevention work, and investigative tasks. This means that as a manager, you need to have a great understanding of the entire mission that the local police district and the police district have to handle.
The role involves close cooperation with the police district's operations center, and you will become the bridge between the operations center, the local police district where you are stationed, and your work group. The work requires your ability to be adaptable and to understand both the crime prevention and investigative missions, including what it entails regarding both proactive and reactive work. To thrive in this role, you need to be secure in your role as a leader and have a genuine interest in building and developing both operations and employees and teams. Through your leadership, you create conditions for participation and community where collaboration is a large and important part of daily work. As a group manager, you have great opportunities to steer and influence the work.
The Role of Manager for the CP/IO Group
As the manager of the CP/IO (Crime Prevention/Intervention Operations) group, you report to the head of the local police district and are part of the local police district's management group, where you are jointly responsible for carrying out assignments and driving the agency's change and development work. You have special responsibility for the group's operations in the area of CP/IO work and its results. As a group manager, you represent the entire Swedish Police Authority both internally and externally and work to strengthen trust in police operations.

Qualifications
This is an opportunity for you who have:
- A Swedish police degree
- At least 6 months of continuous experience working as a manager
- Experience in the current operational area, i.e., field service
- Experience participating in change and development work
We consider it meritorious if you additionally have:
- Experience leading employees in investigative tasks
- Experience leading others towards set goals and results
- Participated in management forums
- Management and leadership training for direct level
- Experience participating in/driving collaboration with societal actors outside your own organization
