Mentor for Year 4 – Europaskolan Rogge
Europaskolan Utbildning ABSödermanlands län, Strängnäs
Previous experience is desired
Europaskolan Rogge is looking for a mentor for Year 4 – we grow through the development of our staff
Do you also want to work at a school where knowledge, structure, and responsibility are clear guiding stars – and where we are proud that our staff develop and dare to take the next step?
Recently, one of our appreciated and skilled teachers has moved on to try a school leadership role. We see this as a testament to the competence and development culture we have at our school. Therefore, we are now looking for you who want to step in and continue building together with us.
About the position
We are looking for a mentor for Year 4, with teaching in Year 4 as well as teaching based on your subject qualifications and strengths.
The position is designed in dialogue with you – we believe in creating the right assignment for the right person. This means that other teaching and assignments can be adapted based on your competence, experience, and interest.
You will have the opportunity to help develop teaching in Year 4 and contribute to the school's continued knowledge development. We have high ambitions – both for our students and for ourselves.
Mentorship is a central part of the assignment. As a mentor, you lead your student group and work purposefully to build, develop, and drive both the student's and the group's development – academically and socially. You lead a group towards clear goals, follow up on results, and work actively for development over time at both the individual and group level.
The assignment involves you:
- Following students' knowledge development and driving their development towards clear goals
- Identifying needs for support and initiating interventions in good time
- Being responsible for high-quality documentation, assessments, and development talks
- Working systematically with attendance and student matters
- Having a close and professional dialogue with guardians
- Collaborating closely with student health services and colleagues for the best possible results
You are part of a work team where collaboration, clarity, and shared responsibility permeate the work – while you have a clear individual responsibility for your mentor group and its development.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who want to make a difference – both in the classroom and in the students' everyday lives.
Formal qualifications are meritorious, but we place great importance on who you are and what you can contribute. For us, the right person is more important than an exact subject combination.
You are:
- A clear and confident leader in the classroom
- Relationship-building and engaged in developing both individuals and groups
- Structured and responsible, with a focus on results and development
- Communicative in contact with guardians and colleagues
- Solution-oriented, driving, and flexible
You see mentorship as a central part of the teaching assignment where you lead, build, and develop – not just follow up.
