Seeking Nurse or District Nurse for Ålidhem Health Centre

Region Västerbotten operates a broad primary care service throughout Västerbotten County, meeting patients of all ages in both urban and rural areas. Primary Care Area East in Umeå is a base unit consisting of the Ålidhem and Holmsund/Obbola health centers. Ålidhem Health Centre is located on Tvistevägen near Ålidhem Center, Umeå University, and the Iksu sports facility. The health center has approximately 22,700 registered inhabitants in a varied catchment area with a generally young population. Within the health center, there are approximately 97 employees, which also includes the family center at Ålidhem Center and the paramedical clinic at Tvistevägen 48 in Tietohusen.

We are now looking for a nurse or district nurse for Ålidhem Health Centre. Job Responsibilities

As a nurse or district nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel safe.

You meet and care for children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly in both scheduled, emergency, and own clinics. The work is varied with counseling, conversations, follow-ups, and other health-promoting work. In the long term, there may be an opportunity to take responsibility for a specific area, such as asthma/COPD, diabetes, incontinence, or health examinations. Together, we actively work to develop working methods that promote patient safety, accessibility, and a good work environment. At the health center, we also work in teams in the acute flow, known here as the acute team. Here, you work together with assistant nurses and doctors to best care for acute illness cases coming to the health center.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for you who are a district nurse, but you who are a registered nurse are also welcome to apply. It is meritorious if you have previous experience working in primary care and if you have experience working with diabetes patients.

As a person, you are flexible and have good teamwork skills. You like to work independently and function well in team work. You plan your work based on the health center's mission and today's needs, in collaboration with colleagues and other employees. You are positive towards changes and development and actively contribute to a good work environment at the workplace. Great importance will be attached to personal qualities.
