Do you want to combine technology, production, and development?

At AQ JIT Mech in Robertsfors, we are now looking for a Production Technician (Welding) who wants to strengthen our welding competence and take the next step within automation towards even more efficient production.

Your Role

As a welding technician with us, you will become a key person in our production.

You will work closely with our own IWS, as well as with the market, operators, production technology, and management – with a focus on creating stable, efficient, and future-proof welding processes that meet our customers' high demands.

Your Responsibilities

• Support production with welding-related questions and troubleshooting
• Develop and create preparation documentation
• Ensure quality according to current standards (e.g., ISO 3834)
• Work with robots and automated processes
• Optimize welding sequences, fixtures, and method selection
• Participate in improvement work and efficiency enhancements
• Participate in investments in new equipment and technology

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience in welding with high requirements
• Knowledge of MIG/MAG/TIG and robotics
• Understanding of reading drawings and production technology
• Experience in preparation or production technology
• Experience with welding robots (ABB, Fanuc, Yaskawa)
• Experience in automation and improvement work

Meritorious qualifications:

• IWT / IWS or equivalent
• Experience with the business system Monitor
