Job Description

We are looking for a personal assistant for a child case where the work takes place in an English-speaking family environment in the client's home in Valbo. The client needs help and support in their daily life. This means that your duties include personal care such as personal hygiene, tube feeding, medication via tube, as well as registration and care during epileptic seizures. The position is physically demanding as many heavy lifts and carrying/supporting are included in the tasks. You will work closely with the parents and base your work on the client's/parents' wishes.

The position is a PAN employment (Personal Assistant) of approximately 90%, with a schedule distributed mainly evenings, weekends, and potentially waking nights.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Fluently speak and write English.
• Have previous experience working with children.

We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience working in healthcare and social care and/or experience working within LSS (The Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).
