Your role at Iver We are looking for you who have a few years of experience in operational purchasing and want to take the next step in your career. The role has a clear operational focus where you drive purchasing work on a daily basis, from need to contract and follow-up.

You work closely with the business and suppliers to ensure efficient, commercial purchases with the right quality, cost, and delivery. You are self-reliant, take initiative for improvements, and handle supplier relations in operational work.

You also support our strategic purchasers and category managers, contributing your expertise in contract management and supplier development.

Examples of tasks

• Handle the operational order flow and ensure a high internal service level

• Work with contracts, contract renewals, and contract compliance

• Develop and strengthen supplier relations through follow-up and improvement initiatives

• Contribute to the development, implementation, and follow-up of category strategies together with category managers.

• Support category managers in tenders and negotiations

To succeed in the role, we believe you have: A few years of experience in operational purchasing and a good understanding of commercial purchasing work. You have worked with suppliers, contracts, follow-up, and negotiations in daily work, focusing on cost-effectiveness and quality. Experience in IT outsourcing purchasing is highly meritorious.

You thrive in independently driving purchasing processes, ensuring deliveries, and developing long-term supplier relations. You work in a structured manner, have a commercial approach, and contribute to the development of suppliers and purchasing processes when needed. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

We would like you to have:

• Relevant education in purchasing or equivalent experience

• Good understanding of contract law and legal aspects within purchasing

• Ability to identify development opportunities and drive improvements

• Experience in procurement

Meritorious experiences:

• Experience in strategic IT purchasing or category management

• Experience in supplier development and sustainability work

• Experience in product and logistics flows, including export handling

• Work with process development and efficiency

• Knowledge in risk management and compliance

Location: The role is based at our office in Örebro.
