Södertälje is beautifully located between the Baltic Sea and Lake Mälaren. On the west side of the canal lies Södertälje Parish, and on the east side Östertälje Parish and the cemetery administration. Northwest of Södertälje, on a peninsula in Lake Mälaren, lies Enhörna. Together, we comprise approximately 120 employees forming the Södertälje Pastorate. Södertälje is a vibrant city with great diversity, and a large portion of the population consists of Christians from the Middle East with various backgrounds and church affiliations.
The Property Management department at Södertälje Pastorate is responsible for the organization's own property portfolio, which includes churches of high cultural and historical value, as well as parish halls, administrative premises, service buildings, and residential units.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Working as a Property Manager with a focus on technical management involves overseeing maintenance planning and carrying out planned construction measures. As needed, you conduct procurement processes, coordinate contractors, and follow up on their work. You actively work on and contribute to identifying and implementing energy efficiency measures. The Property Management department also works consultatively with other parishes within the Church of Sweden.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

We look for you to have relevant education, experience, and a strong interest in property management for culturally and historically significant buildings. - Experience in planning, procuring, and leading maintenance projects
You provide support in planning, procurement, and project management, from strategic planning to concrete implementation in construction and renovation projects. The role is broad and operational, with clear responsibility for ensuring efficient management and operation of several buildings. You are responsible for ensuring that the technical systems of the properties function optimally and that regulatory requirements and mandatory inspections are met. Experience in procuring services and contracts relevant to the management is important. - Experience working consultatively on assignments
In the pastorate's work providing property support to other parishes, you offer support in planning, procurement, and project management. From strategic planning to concrete implementation in construction and renovation projects. As a person, you are receptive, consultative in your approach, and focused on prioritizing the client's needs. You communicate pedagogically and simply with people in various situations. You are also structured and understand the value of good documentation. - Good experience collaborating with authorities and other actors
The role involves contact and coordination with authorities, municipalities, and contractors, where good collaboration skills are of great importance. - Good experience in prioritizing, organizing, evaluating, and driving issues within property management.
In collaboration with the Property Manager, you plan, implement, and follow up on construction and renovation projects, operations, and measures. You work with supervision of the building and its technical systems, media monitoring, operational optimization, as well as preventive and corrective maintenance. You ensure that service agreements are in place, follow up on contractors and suppliers, and contribute to budgeting and follow-up processes.
