About the role Wrknest Engineering is currently looking for a Technical Project Manager for Vasa Vind, one of Sweden's leading owners and developers of large-scale onshore wind power. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a company driving the development of future energy systems through wind power, solar energy, and energy storage.

In this role, you will take significant responsibility for leading and developing technically complex projects within renewable energy. The projects include both the further development of existing facilities and the establishment of new energy projects. You will become a key part of a competent team where technical decisions directly impact the project's value, profitability, and long-term success.

Your future responsibilities

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving projects through their entire lifecycle, from design and procurement to implementation and operation. You will work closely with internal specialists and external consultants to ensure that every project is executed with high technical quality and business understanding.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Leading technical projects within wind power, solar power, energy storage, and hybrid facilities.
• Responsible for technical evaluations and route choices to maximize project value and investment outcomes.
• Driving procurements and coordinating and leading external consultants and suppliers.
• Negotiating technical solutions and ensuring the best possible strategy through the various phases of the project.
• Identifying, analyzing, and managing technical risks.
• Reviewing technical specifications and ensuring quality in deliveries.
• Contributing to the development of operation and maintenance strategies for existing facilities.
• Participating in dialogues with suppliers and collaboration partners to ensure progress and long-term development.

We are looking for you who

• Have a Master of Science in Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree, or equivalent technical education.
• Have at least five years of experience from technical roles and project management within renewable energy.
• Have good technical understanding and the ability to evaluate solutions from both a technical and economic perspective.
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

We consider it meritorious if you have

• Experience of projects within wind power, solar power, or battery storage (BESS).
• Experience of procurement, contract negotiations, and contract review.
• Knowledge of the electricity market, electricity trading, and ancillary services.

As a person, you are analytical and have the ability to quickly grasp complex issues. You thrive in collaborations where multiple specialist competencies meet and have an easy time building trust with both colleagues and external parties. Furthermore, you work in a structured manner, take responsibility for your projects, and drive the work forward with perseverance and engagement.

Location: Solna, Stockholm. Travel occurs as needed as facilities and development projects are located throughout Sweden and Finland.
