Welding Manager at Proplate

Do you want a key role where quality, technology, and development are in focus? As the Welding Manager at Proplate, you will have the opportunity to influence and develop welding processes in one of the industry's most modern production facilities. You will work closely with production, quality, procurement, and project management on technically advanced projects for global customers.

About the Role

You lead, coordinate, and follow up on welding-related issues, ensuring that processes, materials, and methods maintain high quality. The role combines operational and strategic work, giving you a real opportunity to influence and develop.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that requirements and technical prerequisites for welding are met.
• Be responsible for welding-related issues according to ISO 3834 and EN 1090.
• Handle deviations, quality documentation, and corrective actions.
• Train, support, and guide welding personnel.
• Follow up on welding procedures, welding data sheets, controls, and testing.
• Ensure traceability and drive improvement work.

Your Profile

You are structured, meticulous, and responsible, thrive in collaboration, and are eager to share your knowledge.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has IWS certification
• Has several years of experience in welding within the manufacturing industry
• Has good knowledge of standards and welding processes
• Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
