We are now looking for a Prototype Technician who wants to work closely with our engineers and be a key figure in the development of our prototype and pre-series vehicles. About the role As a Prototype Technician, you work with building, modifying, maintaining, and repairing our prototype and pre-series vehicles. You ensure that the vehicles are safe, road-ready, and representative for development, testing, and demonstration. The work takes place close to engineers and test teams, where you are a vital link between design and a real-world drivable product. Main responsibilities Vehicle assembly & modifications:

• Assemble and modify prototype vehicles according to engineering instructions, build specifications, and change notices.
• Install and remove prototype components.
• Support rapid configuration changes between test drives or events.
• Diagnosis, repair & maintenance
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic diagnostics on prototype vehicles.
• Identify root causes of problems and take corrective actions in collaboration with engineers.
• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance to keep test vehicles in a safe and road-ready condition.

• Prepare vehicles for track, road, rig, and laboratory tests
• Support on-site test activities (dyno, durability tests, customer demonstrations), including quick repairs and setup changes.
• Install and remove data acquisition systems, sensors, and logging equipment as needed.

• Document all work performed in build and maintenance documentation.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions during test issues.
• Report faults, observations, and improvement suggestions clearly to engineers and lead technicians.

• Vocational education in automotive technology, mechatronics, or similar
• Several years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably in performance cars, motorsport, aviation, or prototype work
• Strong ability in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Experience reading drawings and electrical schematics
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools (OBD, OEM systems, logging) is an advantage
• Understanding of complex and non-standardized technical solutions
• Good communication skills in English
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
