Job Description and Responsibilities

SPIRAC is in a phase where opportunities are vast and ambitions are high. As COO / General Manager Europe, you will play a key role in translating the company's growth strategy into concrete results.

This is not a traditional operational management role. The assignment involves developing the European business, setting strategies, creating conditions for continued growth, and ensuring that the organization has the right structure, leadership, and commercial focus to achieve its goals.

You will be given broad authority over operations, results, and development, becoming a central part of the group's continued expansion. The role involves setting direction, pace, and long-term development for the European operations while ensuring that growth occurs with maintained profitability and delivery capability.

Key Responsibilities

As COO / General Manager Europe, you are responsible for developing and leading the European operations with a focus on growth, results, and business development. Among other things, you will:

• Drive and implement the company's growth strategy in Europe.
• Be responsible for the company's results, profitability, and business development.
• Develop the organization, leadership, and working methods for continued expansion.
• Ensure that sales, production, engineering, and finance work towards common goals.
• Develop existing markets and create conditions for continued market expansion.
• Work closely with the CEO and group management on strategic and business matters.

The role involves both strategic and operational responsibility, where you are expected to contribute experience, create momentum, and turn plans into concrete results.

Your Profile

We are looking for a business-driven leader with documented experience in developing businesses in change and growth, with a good understanding of how business, market, production, technology, and finance interact. You feel confident making decisions that create long-term value for the business.

The role requires that you have:

• Experience in creating structure, building organizations, and translating strategic ambitions into business results. You are accustomed to leading through others and have experience combining growth with profitability, control, and long-term thinking.
• Experience in developing businesses through change, growth, and organizational development.
• Experience with full business and P&L responsibility.
• Experience from international industrial operations.
• Experience leading managers or other key personnel.
• Ability to combine growth with maintained profitability and business control.
