RESPONSIBILITIES

The position is located under the Municipal Executive Board Administration. As Chief Administrative Officer, you have a varied, meaningful, and strategically important assignment where you get the opportunity to make a real difference for the entire municipal group. You are part of the administration's management group and work in close collaboration with the Municipal Manager and other managers for overall and long-term development.

The assignment includes operational, personnel, work environment, and budget responsibility for the department, which consists of 12 employees with different functions and assignments. You are also expected to drive digitalization and efficiency improvements in working methods, always with legal certainty and quality at the center.

The tasks encompass a broad responsibility where you lead the work with committee and council administration, case preparation, registry, archives, communication, and contact center. You ensure professional support to political committees, administration management, and managers, and provide legal support primarily to the Municipal Executive Board Administration, but also to other committees and companies in the municipal group. The role also involves leading the municipality's work within election administration, information security, data protection/GDPR, and crisis communication. A central part is driving the continued development of the municipality's contact center as a common service function for the entire municipality, while also contributing to the municipality's overall development and strengthening structures in an organization undergoing change.

We are looking for you who are a secure, clear, and communicative leader with strong integrity and the ability to create structure in complex contexts. You are solution-oriented, present, and build trust through collaboration and participation. You thrive in a politically governed organization and have a strong interest in how good administration and legal quality create value for operations and citizens. You work from a holistic perspective and act in accordance with laws, guidelines, and political decisions.

We see that you have:

  • Ability to lead and develop both legal and administrative processes, as well as experience with media and communication processes.
  • Several years of leadership experience with responsibility for personnel, work environment, economy, and operational development.
  • Experience in leading, developing, and working in structured case processes, with a focus on ensuring secure, efficient, and traceable handling.
  • A secure leadership style with experience in change management and group development.
  • Excellent communication skills and express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
