RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and wish to work within the elderly care in Vingåker Municipality. Currently, five occupational therapists, two physiotherapists, and one rehabilitation assistant work at the unit.

As an occupational therapist, you will be responsible for rehabilitation, treatments, training, care planning, as well as guidance and instructions for individuals, relatives, and staff.

The duties also include the trial fitting of assistive devices. You will collaborate closely with a physiotherapist, where you are responsible for a geographical area and/or unit. As an occupational therapist, you work in a team together with nurses, unit managers, care staff, and social secretaries. We operate from a rehabilitative approach. Our goal is for individuals to be able to use their own abilities in daily activities based on their conditions and needs. Together, we aim to facilitate and create conditions for the individual to become as independent as possible.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist. We see that you as a person are flexible, have good cooperation skills, professional knowledge, and creativity. As a person, you have good cooperation skills, are flexible, meticulous, and responsible.

A Category B driver's license is a requirement for this position.
