Summer is here and we are now looking for a Head Chef at Österlånggatan 17!

Located in the heart of Stockholm, right in the Old Town (Gamla Stan), Österlånggatan 17 shares its name with the restaurant. Here we serve classic Swedish home cooking and Mediterranean-inspired dishes at reasonable prices with high quality! Our goal is to be the best local neighborhood bistro for both guests and staff.

With our extensive opening hours, we reach most people by serving lunch and dinner on weekdays. On weekends, we deliver one of Stockholm's most popular brunches during the day. Our bar acts as an extension of the dining room, where you can grab a drink, have a light bite, or go all out and enjoy a full dinner.

We are an experienced team constantly working to give our guests the best possible experience. We always strive to improve what we do, as well as to take care of and maintain what we have.

The Role

As Head Chef, you are the highest authority in the kitchen. You are responsible for your own tasks and for what your kitchen staff do on a daily basis. Key qualities for success include strong leadership skills, good communication skills, and experience in personnel management. You should have creativity and a great interest in food and drink, the ability to understand the bistro's concept, and an appreciation for good hospitality. You must be solution-oriented and resilient under stress, a source of joy, possess good financial understanding for cost control, and work towards continuous financial improvement.

Good knowledge of the Office package, Personalkollen, Bazaro & Ancon.
