to apply for the job

We are immediately seeking a reliable, responsible, and service-oriented Hotel Receptionist for on-call extra work, primarily working weekends. This role is perfect for you if you thrive in a flexible position and want to be part of an engaged hotel team.

Responsibilities

The reception is the heart of the hotel, and your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Reading and writing handover notes
  • Cash handling and reconciliation
  • Receiving and managing bookings
  • Handling emails and phone calls
  • Greeting guests with professional and personalized service
  • Responding to reviews
  • Processing payments via VC cards, cash register, and payment links
  • Handling requests regarding rooms, extra beds, etc.
  • Registering lost and found items
  • Ensuring the lobby, coffee station, restrooms, outdoor area, etc., are clean, stocked, and presentable

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is service-minded, solution-oriented, and responsible. You are detail-oriented and take ownership of getting things done. If you are unsure how to solve something, you ask, but you try to figure it out yourself first.

You are confident enough to say “I will get back to you” when you cannot answer immediately, as accurate information is paramount. Even though you often work alone at the reception, you understand the value of teamwork. You communicate clearly, leave thorough handovers, and ensure the workplace is always ready for the next colleague.

We value respect for our colleagues: we are punctual, work as a team, and always treat each other with kindness, creating a pleasant and professional work environment.

We also value respect for the workplace; you tidy up, clean after yourself, and leave the reception in the same or better condition than you found it.

Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in reception work
  • Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Reliable, stress-resistant, and independent
  • Flexible and available for on-call work, sometimes with short notice.

Dress Code

  • Black trousers
  • Black jacket
  • Black or white shirt/blouse
  • Black shoes without visible branding

What We Offer

We are a small, family-like team that has worked together for a long time and gets along very well. You will join a secure workplace where we support each other and enjoy ourselves even during stressful periods.

We work in a structured and simple manner with clear routines and documentation, so you do not need to memorize everything. You are never alone; colleagues are always available for support and questions.

Application

Please send your application with a CV including a photo and a short cover letter to: [email protected]

(We only accept applications via email)

Hourly wage according to collective agreement.
