Medicine Department 4 in Bollnäs is hiring Nursing Assistants

Medicine Department 4 in Bollnäs is an acute care ward focused on stroke, TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack), and acute medicine. Here, we work in a multidisciplinary team consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists. We also collaborate closely with dietitians and social workers. With a patient-centered approach, we ensure that the patient is involved in their care and that both patients and relatives feel safe and well taken care of. We follow national guidelines and are constantly working to improve stroke care.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant with us, you are an important part of the team and the patient's care. You work closely with nurses and have close collaboration with the rest of the colleagues in the team. Here, you will have a varied and developing daily routine where the patient is always in focus.

As a nursing assistant with us, you will among other things work with:

• Basic care
• Mobilization
• Dressing changes, catheterization, and blood sampling
• Connecting telemetry monitoring for stroke patients
• Checking vital signs

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating and contributes to a good work climate through respectful and attentive treatment. You communicate clearly with colleagues, patients, and relatives and adapt to different situations and needs. You keep your cool and work focused even when the pace is high, see solutions in everyday life, and can prioritize and structure your work in a safe and effective way. Furthermore, you are flexible, open to new ways of working, and easily adapt when the needs of the business change.

As a nursing assistant with us, you must be:

• A trained nursing assistant

Experience in nursing work within inpatient care as a nursing assistant is meritorious for the position. It is also meritorious if you have experience in stroke care and/or have completed training in the stroke field.

Digital Interview
