About the job

Malins Skafferi is looking for a cold kitchen chef to join our hot kitchen and catering team. We serve daily lunch Monday–Friday between 11:00–13:30. The lunch menu consists of 4–5 dishes (meat, fish, vegetarian, salad), with two dishes (meat and fish) changing daily, while the remaining dishes change weekly. Lunch is served on plates to approximately 150–200 guests daily. At Skafferiet, you can enjoy delicious, well-prepared lunch in cozy premises with a pleasant atmosphere. In addition to lunch service, we handle catering assignments, funeral receptions, and occasionally larger events in the evenings and on weekends.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is trained as a chef or cold kitchen chef, enjoys taking responsibility, and thrives under the high tempo of the lunch rush. It is important that you can work independently, although you will always have colleagues around you who support your work. At Skafferiet, we have a varied lunch menu where you will gradually have the opportunity to influence the offerings. As a person, you are a team player without ego, appreciate order and structure, and most importantly: you cook delicious, high-quality food for our customers.

Requirements for the role:

• Documented education as a chef or cold kitchen chef.
• Experience in similar work.
• Enjoy working in a small team (5 other colleagues).
• A sense for service and customer experience.
• Experience working independently and keeping to schedules.
