Hold the assembly work together behind the industry of the future. Stora Enso is looking for an Assembly Coordinator who creates structure, pace, and secure deliveries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Assembly Coordinator for Electrical and Automation at Skoghall, you are the hub between project management, design, operations, maintenance, and external contractors. You ensure that assembly work functions in practice – from planning to execution and follow-up. You coordinate and plan assembly efforts within electrical, instrumentation, and automation in a business with many parallel projects and ongoing improvement and maintenance work. It is a dynamic environment where conditions can change quickly, and your ability to create structure and progress is crucial.
In this role, you ensure that assembly work is properly prepared and can be carried out efficiently and safely. You ensure that documentation is in place, plan resources, and distribute work among contractors. You maintain ongoing dialogue with contractors and hold regular check-ins to create clarity on what needs to be done.
You are also responsible for creating the right conditions in the plant by coordinating with operations and maintenance, as well as planning transport, lifting, and access. Your daily work is characterized by many contact points, a high pace, and the need to make quick decisions.
Furthermore, you work with orders and contribute to procurement processes by preparing and reviewing request documents, as well as supporting the dialogue with purchasing. You are also involved in ensuring that what is procured is clearly defined and possible to follow up on.
Safety is a central part of the role. You contribute to ensuring that assembly work is carried out in an electrically safe and ergonomically correct manner, participate in safety reviews, and follow up on the contractors' work. The role is mobile and operational, but not hands-on – your focus is on coordination and the big picture.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND QUALIFICATIONS
To thrive in this role, we see that you are structured, solution-oriented, and enjoy a daily life where many things happen simultaneously. You have an easy time creating order and progress, even when conditions change. You are clear when needed and have the ability to both set demands and create good collaborations.
We would like you to have experience from electrical, automation, or related areas, for example as a designer, project manager, or lead fitter. Experience from an industrial environment or contracting business is valuable, as is an understanding of how assembly work functions in practice.
It is an advantage to have knowledge within contracting law, such as AB04 or ABT06, as well as experience of tenders and contracts. Experience of occupational health and safety issues in the industry is also a strength.
