We are looking for several Construction Site Supervisors (BPU) for the E45 Hammar-Valnäs project for the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket).

This is a consulting assignment. The work location is Karlstad.

Roles requested:

• BPU Structures
• BPU Environment

The assignment involves close cooperation with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

As a Construction Site Supervisor (BPU), you are responsible for monitoring production in a construction contract and ensuring that the contract is carried out according to the agreement, requirements, and set quality goals. The assignment includes coordination, control, and follow-up in the areas of road and safety, structures, and environment, in close cooperation with project management, the contractor, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Coordinating BPU and BPU Road and Safety:

• Responsible for ongoing monitoring of production, progress, quantities, traffic during construction, and working environment
• Participate in construction, production, and technical meetings as well as site inspections and surveys
• Review MSS, handle UR (Variations), agreements, and deviations, and prepare weekly reports
• Coordinate other BPUs, develop control plans, and perform APU controls in BUS

BPU Structures:

• Monitor the structure contract through site visits, meetings, inspections, and surveys
• Review MSS and perform contract follow-up
• Perform controls according to the control plan and prepare documentation for UR and ÄTA (Additional Work)
• Obtain and follow up on relationship documentation from the contractor

BPU Environment:

• Participate in meetings, environmental rounds, inspections, and surveys
• Review environmental plans and check compliance with environmental requirements, authority requirements, and safety measures
• Monitor infrastructure components and operations with environmental impact, and support the project manager in contacts with authorities
• Document and report controls in Miljösäkring Plan och Bygg and MiljöWebb Landskap

Requirements (OBS, mandatory)

Coordinating BPU and BPU Road and Safety:

• Have been site manager or construction supervisor/BPU in at least 2 road projects in the production phase, with a size of at least 40 million SEK.
• Must have at least 8 years of experience in infrastructure operations, of which at least 4 years as site manager/construction supervisor/BPU.
• Documented experience in road and MER, AMA, AB04, and ABK 09.
• Approved BAS-U training, not older than 5 years.
• Step 2.2 and 2.3 according to TDOK 2018:0371 "APV Roles and Competence in Procured Operations – Contracting and Projecting Services".

BPU Structures:

• Must have at least 8 years of experience in infrastructure operations, of which at least 4 years as site manager/construction supervisor/BPU.
• Must have completed the training "Concrete Structures - Execution - Application of SS-EN 13670:2009 in Sweden", appendix J. Competence Class I-U.

BPU Environment:

• Must have at least 5 years of experience in infrastructure operations, of which at least 2 years as construction supervisor/BPU within the environment.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and prescriptions in the current area.
