We develop, manage, and maintain a building area of over 760,000 square meters, ranging from new advanced healthcare buildings to medieval castles. We also handle transportation and work on logistical solutions within Region Uppsala, as well as providing meal services for inpatients. Most of our customers are within the healthcare sector, and our largest customer is the University Hospital. Our Operations

We are approximately 90 employees responsible for the operation and maintenance of Region Uppsala's buildings. The Enköping Operations team consists of 6 maintenance technicians covering areas in and around Enköping. Enköping Operations handles daily operations regarding plumbing, cooling, medical gases, electricity, ventilation, control systems, and construction in Region Uppsala's property portfolio.

Your Role

At Property and Services Region Uppsala, you will work in a healthcare environment within Region Uppsala's buildings and premises. You will receive varied, interesting, and responsible tasks in an environment with competent colleagues and a diversity of technical systems. Your primary area of responsibility is plumbing, cooling, and medical gases, but you will also work with other property-related matters.

The work is varied, involves a lot of problem-solving, and you have great opportunities to direct your own work as well as propose suggestions and improvements where you see needs and opportunities. You will work with operation, supervision, and maintenance, as well as corrective maintenance. The work also includes troubleshooting and acute corrective measures on the buildings' plumbing systems. The role also encompasses energy-improving measures. In the long term, you will be part of the emergency response team.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is interested in property technology and thrives in a varied environment where you encounter both new and old, simple and complex.

• You have industry certifications within plumbing and HVAC (VVS).
• You have several years of experience in similar work within plumbing.
• You have system knowledge within plumbing.
• You are proficient in using the computer as a work tool.
• You speak and write very good Swedish.
• You have a valid B-driver's license.

Experience in property operations in general, e.g., ventilation systems, basic electrical knowledge, cooling, carpentry, energy optimization, control and regulation systems, is meritorious.

As a person, you have good social competence with a positive attitude and are responsive to the customer's needs. You have good prioritization skills and are quality-conscious in your work. You take responsibility for your own work while being accustomed to, and enjoying, working in a team. Personal suitability will be given great weight.

The position is full-time, permanent, with a start date as agreed. Your main workplace is at the Hospital in Enköping, where you start your workday, and you will depart with a service vehicle to surrounding properties as needed.
