We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join a global company in the manufacturing of gypsum boards. You will work in an industrial environment alongside a competent and engaged team where collaboration, responsibility, and precision are key.
This assignment is part of our staffing business, meaning you will be employed by Yourstaff and work on-site at the client's premises.
Working hours: Day shift or two-shift system, on-call duties and standby may apply
Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you are responsible for ensuring stable and efficient production through preventive and corrective maintenance. The role is varied and includes among other things:
- Repair and maintenance of production equipment and machinery
- Mechanical installations and improvement projects
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving during operational disruptions
- Electrical work in connection with repairs and maintenance
- Welding and manufacturing of smaller machine parts as needed
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
- High school education or equivalent in mechanics, industry, or electrical engineering
- Basic computer skills
- At least 1 year of experience in mechanical maintenance or repairs
- Meritorious experience with electrical work and cabling
- Good physical condition and enjoy practical work
- A strong technical interest and good problem-solving skills
Meritorious Qualifications
- Knowledge in electrical systems, automation, or control systems
- Experience working with cabling and electrical installations
- Welding skills
- Good proficiency in English, both spoken and written
