Are you meticulous, safety-conscious, and enjoy working in a technical production environment? We are now looking for a Process Operator for a longer-term assignment in Uppsala. This role is suitable for you if you thrive on monitoring and controlling production processes, working according to routines, and contributing to stable and safe production.

About the role

As a Process Operator, you are responsible for the operation and monitoring of production equipment and processes. You ensure that production adheres to specified parameters and quality requirements, perform sampling and registrations, and report deviations. The work involves daily follow-up according to routines, participation in troubleshooting and improvement work, as well as collaboration with maintenance and quality departments.

  • Monitor and control process equipment according to operating instructions.

  • Carry out routine checks, sampling, and documentation in the system.

  • Troubleshooting and corrective actions in case of deviations, escalating to relevant functions.

  • Participate in improvement work and follow up on proposed measures.

  • Maintain order, safety, and cleanliness according to current routines and 5S.

About you

We are looking for someone who is structured, responsible, and has a technical interest. You work meticulously, are accustomed to following instructions, and have the ability to make quick decisions when necessary. Good teamwork skills and clear communication are important in this role.

Formal qualifications
  • Professional experience from process industry, production, or similar environments

  • Basic technical understanding and computer literacy

  • Communicates well in Swedish (verbal and written)

  • Basic knowledge of English

  • Good knowledge of the Office package

Meritorious qualifications
  • Relevant education, e.g., upper secondary education in natural sciences/technology, university engineering degree, vocational training as a process operator

  • Cleanroom training and experience working in cleanrooms

  • Experience with chromatography columns

  • Experience with batch manufacturing

  • Lean

  • GxP
