About the role
As an Instrument Technician, you will become part of Forsmark's operational heart. Your mission is to ensure that the plant's instrumentation, control, and regulation systems function with the highest possible reliability.
Nuclear power is a complex world, and to become truly proficient in the facility, a solid and educational introductory year is required where you immerse yourself in the systems. You will work alongside senior mentors, receive a tailored development plan, and undergo rotation to build a stable foundation. For the right person, there is a clear career ladder here – the long-term goal is for you to grow into the role and become one of the senior key figures in Forsmark's technical support groups. This is a consultancy assignment with the ambition that you will be employed by Forsmark after your consultancy period.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on measurement, control, and protection systems
- Calibrate, check, and verify instruments (e.g., pressure, temperature, flow, and level)
- Troubleshoot and rectify disturbances in instrumentation and automation systems
- Participate in revisions, shutdowns, and projects within instrumentation and control systems
- Document performed work according to current procedures and regulatory requirements
- Participate in analyses of operational disturbances and contribute to improvement measures
- Ensure that work is performed according to safety regulations and quality requirements
- Collaborate with operations personnel, engineers, and other technical functions
We are looking for you who
- Have a post-secondary education in electrical engineering, automation, instrumentation technology, or equivalent practical experience
- Have a basic understanding of measurement technology, control technology, electrical and automation systems, as well as reading drawings, which you have acquired either through your education or from working life.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, as the role requires precise documentation and strict adherence to safety regulations.
