We are now strengthening our team in Uppsala and are looking for a Maintenance Technician with an interest in technology, service, and development. As a Maintenance Technician with us, you play a vital role in creating stable and efficient operations in our properties in Uppsala. You work closely with our tenants, where Uppsala University is our largest customer, in an environment ranging from teaching facilities to more technically advanced research environments.

In your daily work, you combine practical tasks with ongoing customer dialogue. You are responsible for handling fault reports, following up on measures, and contributing to ensuring that the premises function as intended with high quality and service. Through a solution-oriented approach and your technical competence, you contribute to safe operations and a good experience for our customers.

You will become part of a team with 5 other Maintenance Technicians, where you jointly are responsible for the properties. You are based at our office in Uppsala and report to the Group Manager Operations. In this role, you also collaborate closely with technical managers, operation engineers, and other functions within our organization. Responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing contact with tenants regarding operations, cases, and the functionality of the premises.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and corrective measures.
• Handle fault reports and ensure clear and professional feedback.
• Troubleshoot and rectify technical systems within areas such as heating, ventilation, electricity, and control.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support functions, and escalate more complex cases.
• Participate in the planning of maintenance measures and improvement initiatives.
• Participate in emergency preparedness work according to the organization's structure.

Qualifications

You are a person who enjoys taking responsibility and creating structure in your work. You have a service-oriented attitude and are driven by finding solutions, both independently and together with others. Your ability to build relationships and collaborate with various parties is important, as is your commitment to contributing to stable operations and a positive experience for our customers.

• Experience in property management and a solid interest in technology.
• Technical or property-oriented education, or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
• Electricity (power and lighting).
• Ventilation.
• Plumbing (HVAC/Water).
• Control and regulation technology.
• Energy and climate issues.
• Good system proficiency and experience with digital tools.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• A background check will be conducted on final candidates.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Specialist knowledge in areas such as control systems, ventilation, or energy optimization.
• Experience in complex property environments, such as laboratory operations.
• Experience with Facility Management or similar systems.
