Vattenfall Värme is now looking for you who wants to work as a Service Technician in district heating and help ensure a stable and socially vital district heating supply. In this role, you work closely with our customers, solve technical problems in the field, and contribute to the development of a climate-smart society.
About the Position
The Measurement and Customer-Close Services group is responsible for collecting metering data for district heating, district cooling, and steam, as well as performing customer-close services for Vattenfall Värme. As a Service Technician, you are offered a varied and independent job with a focus on good customer relations. You are part of a group with very good cohesion that works towards common goals.
You will work with, among other things, energy meter issues, performing service and maintenance on our customers' and our own district heating centers. You will also be part of Vattenfall Värme's strategic projects and initiatives to achieve more efficient production and distribution.
The location is Uppsala, and the position includes on-call duty within Uppsala, Knivsta, and Storvreta every fifth week.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Perform service in customer-owned district heating centers.
- Troubleshooting and advising on customer-owned district heating centers.
- Operation and maintenance of our own district heating centers.
- Energy meter issues (new installations, revision replacements, and communication faults).
- Responsible for disassembly and commissioning together with plumbing contractors during heat exchanger replacements at our customers.
- Work proactively to increase the efficiency of our customers' facilities.
Requirements
We would like you to:
- Have experience as a service or operations technician within HVAC, energy, process, etc., or have experience as an electrician.
- Hold a valid B-driver's license (required).
- Fluently speak and write Swedish (required).
- Be accustomed to working with digital tools.
- Enjoy working both independently and in a group, as well as having contact with customers.
Merits:
- Experience with control and regulation technology.
- Fluently speak and write English.
As a Service Technician, you will be our ambassador out at the customer site, so we are looking for you who is service-oriented and driven by problem-solving and helping the customer. You can easily adapt to new circumstances and enjoy learning new products and services.
When you work, you are thorough and follow the existing routines. You are self-reliant and want to work independently, while also enjoying collaboration and creating cohesion with your colleagues.
