Our assistance unit currently consists of a coordinator and five case workers. Responsibilities

As an assistance case worker, you investigate the need for support and help, make decisions, and order interventions from providers. The work is carried out in accordance with current legislation (primarily the Social Services Act, SoL) as well as the municipality's guidelines and routines. You are also a key person in coordinated care planning together with other actors. You also play an important role in other collaboration with relatives, representatives, providers, health care, and other authorities.

To succeed in the role, you are a structured person who enjoys taking initiatives from both economic and quality perspectives. You care that our value system is followed and you meet individuals in a way that is consistent with this. Since the role involves public authority functions, you need to be confident in making and communicating decisions, as well as having very good communication skills in both speech and writing.

Qualifications:

• Education: Degree in Social Work, Social Care Program, or other academic education considered equivalent.
• Knowledge: Good knowledge of the Social Services Act (SoL).
• Experience: Meritorious if you have previous experience as an assistance case worker according to SoL and working according to IBIC.
• Language: Very good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing.
• Driving License: Category B driving license is required.
