The psychiatric outpatient clinic in Bollnäs is a general psychiatric clinic for residents over the age of 18. We are responsible for carrying out interventions in open psychiatric care that promote health and increased quality of life. We have approximately 35 employees at the clinic in Bollnäs, characterized by a good work environment where we care for each other. The operations are characterized by good treatment, high accessibility, and good results. The psychiatric clinic in Bollnäs works with two municipalities; Bollnäs and Ovanåker. We are now looking for a social worker for the clinic.

Job Responsibilities

As a social worker within adult psychiatry, you are responsible for the psychosocial perspective in the teamwork around the patient. You will be part of the clinic's treatment team. The social workers at the clinic are represented in the teams but also collaborate with each other to develop social work within specialized psychiatry. Daily work also includes participating in the clinic's and the organization's improvement work. This means real opportunities to contribute to the development of care at the clinic.

As a social worker with us, you will among other things work with:

• coordinating interventions and collaborating with other actors around the patient
• suicide prevention and structurally supportive interventions
• supportive and motivational conversations based on psychosocial stress factors, paying attention to children's needs, support for relatives, and psychosocial assessments.

Qualifications

We are looking for a flexible and engaged person who thrives in close collaboration with all professions in a varied daily life. You have good collaboration skills, are confident in your professional role, have a genuine interest in working with people with mental illness, and have the ability to treat people in a professional and empathetic manner. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

In the role of social worker, you must:

• be educated as a social worker (socionom).

For this position, it is meritorious if you are a licensed health and social care social worker, have basic psychotherapy training, CBT, or experience in authority exercises and/or assistance administration.
