About the role
The defense industry is scaling up, while the forestry and paper industries continue to modernize their production systems.
Together, this drives an increased need for integrated technical capability close to the operations.
Against this backdrop, TMC is establishing a new regional unit to build and develop long-term customer relationships and delivery capacity together with leading companies in the region.
We are looking for a Business Unit Manager who takes full responsibility for establishing and developing the business from the ground up.
What the role involves:
- You own a regional P&L and build a long-term business from scratch
- You develop strategic customer relationships at the executive level within the region's key industries
- You mobilize and lead technical teams around critical deliveries and development initiatives
- You create recurring business rather than individual assignments
- You build a local presence linked to TMC's global model and network
- You drive business and delivery as an integrated whole
What we expect from you
- Have experience building or scaling business in complex B2B environments.
- Understand the interplay between business, technology, and operational delivery.
- Have an entrepreneurial and results-oriented mindset.
- Enjoy building rather than managing.
- Create trust at senior decision-making levels in customer organizations
- Take full responsibility for business, results, and long-term development
- Experience from consulting or professional services firms is advantageous, especially in roles close to complex customer deliveries.
