Your Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you work based on current regulatory documents and plan, implement, evaluate, document, and develop the pedagogical activities together with the rest of the team. Using the curriculum as a foundation, you choose methods, content, and interactions based on each child's knowledge, experience, and specific prerequisites.

You work to create a safe, fun, and educational preschool. Together as a team, you create an environment that starts from the children's needs and interests, where children can feel they have influence and are involved in shaping the preschool's environment and activities. Collaboration with other staff is another important task, as work around the children takes place in teams.

You are willing to drive both your own and the preschool's development forward. Your work is characterized by clear respect for the individual and good relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. As a preschool teacher, you have overall responsibility for the pedagogical activities in accordance with the curriculum's guidelines.

You are responsible, together with your colleagues, for giving the children a learning, playing, varied, meaningful, responsible, and fun time at preschool.

Your Profile

• We are looking for a qualified preschool teacher who is confident in their professional role.
• You are active and interested in driving and participating in the preschool's development work, and you are well-versed in the preschool's regulatory documents.
• You are a co-researching educator who can challenge children in everyday life through play and imagination, and you have a good and professional approach.
• You have a purpose for every material and its placement, and you transform every environment into a learning environment, whether the children are indoors or outdoors.
• It is in your nature to organize the activities so that they suit the group of children, and you constantly work on shaping and developing the learning environment based on children's questions and the curriculum's mission.
• Good collaboration skills and a professional approach towards children, guardians, and colleagues.
• Work experience is meritorious.
• In addition to your theoretical and practical knowledge, we place great emphasis on your personal suitability.
• Experience working with digital tools is also meritorious.

Employment

The position is a temporary assignment (vacancy) at 50 percent from August 3rd to December 31st, with a possibility of extension.
