Rydals Herrgård is a historic manor house setting in Rydal where we serve Swedish food with a focus on manor house classics and well-known traditional home cooking, prepared with care and seasonal ingredients. We are also a popular venue for lunches, events, parties, and other gatherings.

About the Role

The work involves varied kitchen tasks, where you will be an important part of both daily service and larger events.

You will be responsible for, among other things:

• Preparing manor house classics and seasonal dishes
• Organizing and maintaining order in the kitchen
• Preparing ingredients and working with mise en place
• Participating in service during lunches and events
• Contributing to good structure, quality, and collaboration in the kitchen

Working Hours

The position involves weekend work as well as evening work during events and larger arrangements. Working hours vary depending on the business's bookings and season.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience from the kitchen and/or service (meritorious but not a requirement)
• Participates in planning and preparation for lunches, dinners, and events
• Works with plating and quality assurance of dishes before serving
• Collaborates closely with service staff during service and events
• Contributes to menu development and improvement of kitchen routines when needed
