About the job

On the third floor of Villa Videbeck, there is "Glunten," which is a short-term and respite care unit with 16 apartments distributed across two wards. There are also two residential wards with 9 residents each. For us, it is important that we work together.

is a trained assistant nurse with experience and education in dementia care. Are you interested in working to support and give people with dementia a meaningful day at Villa Videbeck? Then a job with us might be right for you!

We work based on each individual's specific needs and look at the individual's own strengths. We are now looking for you who want to work together with us and share our values and have a great interest in care for dementia patients.

Job Responsibilities

You work independently and have good cooperation skills with residents, relatives, colleagues, and participate in our teamwork. Together we work to create a safe and meaningful everyday life for each individual. We work with person-centered care, contact person responsibility, social interaction, and provide support in medical tasks. Your work includes ongoing documentation and responsibility for implementation plans. We use quality registers, the BPSD register with interaction plans, and Senior Alert as tools.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are confident in your professional role and can work independently and in a team. Having previously worked and/or having in-depth knowledge and education in the field of dementia is meritorious. You have the ability to create security and to meet and understand the individual needs of people. For you, it is natural to have a professional approach in your work where you always put the person at the center. You are confident and responsive in your professional role. You are positive and take responsibility for the operations. You contribute to a good work climate and to your own development.

Since social documentation and communication are important in your work, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken, written, and good reading comprehension. Good computer skills and digital competence.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

• Experience of similar work and/or education in dementia.

We are looking for an assistant nurse for a permanent position, 100% employment rate. The employer offers full-time work but there is an opportunity for the desired employment rate.

You will work scheduled hours day/evening/weekend.

Start date as soon as possible or as agreed.

Selection takes place continuously during the recruitment period.

Requirements: To be employed in the role of assistant nurse, you need to attach a Certificate of Protected Occupational Title for Assistant Nurse from the National Board of Health and Welfare to your application, or alternatively a certificate from your current employer confirming that you had/permanent employment as an assistant nurse on July 1, 2023.

Salary Range: We apply individual and differentiated salary setting. For the position, the monthly salary is between 26,500 – 35,000 SEK depending on experience, education, and competence.

Extract from the Criminal Record Register
