Job Responsibilities

• Provide individual support to students in their daily schooling. The support can be of a pedagogical, physical, psychological, social, and emotional nature.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to adapt teaching to the students' needs.
• Communicate and collaborate with guardians regarding the student's school situation and interests.
• Create and maintain a safe and structured environment for the students.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of activities that promote the students' social and emotional development.
• Document and follow up on the students' progress and needs.
• Work within the after-school center's activities is included in the role.
• Substitute for other staff when absent.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPB) and/or physical disabilities is desirable.
• Education in pedagogy, special education, or similar is meritorious.
• Good ability to collaborate and communicate with both students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Patience, sensitivity, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Personal suitability is very important.

A high school diploma is required. The person offered the position must provide an extract from the criminal record register as per the Act (1998:620) on the criminal record register, with requirements in the Education Act (2010:800).

Employment type: Permanent position.
