Staff Nurse (Undersköterska) to the Staffing Unit – Region Kalmar County

Here, you will have the opportunity to work within many different departments at the hospital and develop every day. In this role, you will primarily rotate through the hospital's care wards, but there is also an opportunity to be trained on specialist wards and in primary care as needed. The staffing unit operates under a local collective agreement, which may involve quick adjustments to your schedule based on operational needs. This working method gives you freedom in your schedule, while also making you aware of the importance of working when and where it is needed to provide patients with the best care.

About You

Since the staffing unit's task is to be available when and where needed, it is required that you are flexible and have the ability to change which shifts and which workplace you can work at.

You also need to be service-oriented and have an easy time building relationships. You thrive in new contexts and conditions. You, the applicant, are trained as a staff nurse (undersköterska) and have good knowledge of the Swedish language. We would like you to have a few years of experience working as a staff nurse, preferably in a hospital and ideally in a staffing unit. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The staffing unit is Region Kalmar County's internal staffing unit, providing qualified and flexible personnel during peak workloads and short-term absences on wards, clinics, and health centers. Our team includes both staff nurses and medical secretaries.
