The department provides education for nurses, radiographers, specialist nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, as well as bachelor's degrees in health guidance and psychology. Within the department, research and doctoral education are conducted in the fields of occupational therapy, physiotherapy, nursing, and psychology.

The Department of Nursing and Radiography is now seeking a University Lecturer specializing in Radiography to teach on the Radiographer and Nurse programs.

Subject Description

Radiography is an interdisciplinary field of knowledge where nursing, imaging and functional medicine, radiation physics, and medicine constitute four important components.

Responsibilities

The position of University Lecturer at the Department of Nursing and Radiography involves course responsibility, teaching, supervision, assessment of students during clinical placements (VFU), and examination of students at undergraduate and advanced levels. Teaching may consist of lectures, laboratory work, simulations, and seminars. You will meet students on campus and via online platforms.

Qualifications

To be eligible for appointment as a University Lecturer, you must:

• Be a licensed radiographer
• Have experience working clinically as a radiographer
• Have experience with course responsibility, teaching, and supervision
• Have good proficiency in speaking and writing in Swedish and English

Other merit-based criteria:

• Licensed nurse with clinical experience
• Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently
