Your Role as Operational Buyer at Apotea

As an Operational Buyer at Apotea, you will be a key member of the purchasing and category team. You will handle product information and purchasing-related master data, work with article setup, price updates, supplier documentation, and packaging data, ensuring that all information is accurate. You will collaborate closely with category managers and strategic buyers regarding new products, assortment changes, supplier follow-ups, and continuous improvements. You will work extensively with Excel lists, both internally and externally, to ensure that supplier information is complete and accessible.

To thrive and succeed at Apotea, you need to be structured, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy, as we work with modern digital solutions and large volumes of product and supplier information. You should enjoy driving projects forward, be flexible, and adaptable to handle rapid changes and varying tasks. We value a meticulous approach where you are attentive to details, but also have an understanding of how product data, purchasing, systems, and logistics are interconnected.

You should have

• Post-secondary education in purchasing, economics, logistics, e-commerce, computer science, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in operational purchasing, product information, master data, supplier administration, category work, e-commerce, or a similar field.
• Good system proficiency and very good knowledge of Excel.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.

Meritorious qualifications

• Experience with PIM, business systems, EDI/order flows, EAN/GTIN, packaging data, article setup, price lists, or supplier portals is meritorious.
• Experience from pharmacies, retail, FMCG, self-care, e-commerce, or logistics is meritorious.

You need to be engaged and solution-oriented, with a positive attitude and the ability to take initiative to solve problems efficiently. It is important that you are cooperative and team-oriented, enjoy working closely with both colleagues and suppliers, and contribute positively to the group's dynamics.
