Vårdcentralen Smedjebacken has approximately 7,100 registered patients. The role is broad and defined in agreement with the Care Selection Unit. The staffing at the health center consists of many different professional categories with broad competence. Collaboration and utilizing each other's knowledge are important parts of the work at Vårdcentralen Smedjebacken.

We have specialist nurse clinics for diabetes, blood pressure, asthma/COPD, PAD (Peripheral Arterial Disease), and dementia. Additionally, there is a coordination nurse for mental health and a counseling clinic with psychotherapists. We have Child Health Services (CHS) with both Child Health Service nurses and psychologists. Primary care rehabilitation (physiotherapists and occupational therapists), midwife clinic, youth clinic, and counseling clinic for children and young people.

We are a team with good morale, and the collaboration between the different professions is excellent. We focus heavily on structured development work to provide our patients with the best healthcare while simultaneously creating a good work environment.

In the role of Specialist in General Practice at our health center, you will encounter a exciting variety of patients and tasks. You have good opportunities to influence your own work situation and the development of the department.

As a District Doctor with us, you will work with both emergency and scheduled patient consultations, based on the broad general practice mandate. The work is varied and independent, where you will meet patients of all ages. You collaborate with other professions who contribute their expertise.

We are looking for you who

• is a Specialist in General Practice
• has good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing (Swedish C level)

You are a competent doctor with a structured approach to work and the ability to work both independently and in multiprofessional teams. We appreciate that you are secure, flexible, and contribute to a positive atmosphere. You have good communication skills with your colleagues and patients. You have an interest in supervising future colleagues and want to contribute to the development of the department.

This position requires you to have a valid license for the current profession. Your professional license will be checked against the National Board of Health and Welfare's register of licensed healthcare personnel (HOSP) before any offer of employment.
