Särna Health Centre runs an exciting, seasonally varying healthcare operation with a focus on both planned and emergency care. The permanent population is approximately 1,600 people, but during the high season, many visitors come to the mountain area. The area otherwise has a clear rural character with long distances and 120 km to the nearest hospital from the health centre.

We have good collaboration between all staff categories. We continuously work on well-being and working environment issues. We are evolving in how we will look and work in the future. In short, this is an stimulating workplace year-round and extra eventful during the winter season – and there are good opportunities for an active leisure time for those who like forests and mountains.

As a nurse with us, you have a key role in the daily work of the health centre. You work both at booked appointments and with emergency operations. You are also responsible for telephone advice in the TeleQ system as well as digital care via 1177 Digits, among other things. We work close together while there is ample room for independence, own initiatives, and personal development.

Usually, working hours are weekdays and daytime. On-call duties as well as evening and weekend shifts are included. The work takes place mainly at the doctor's office at Särna Health Centre, but may also involve work at the district nurse's office in Särna and/or in Idre.

We are looking for you who

• are a registered nurse
• have a category B driver's license
• have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have

• experience and familiarity with telephone advice and reception work at a health centre/reception
• operational experience within one of our areas of responsibility

This job involves direct and regular contact with children and/or young people. This position requires that you have a valid license for the current profession.
