Caregiver for Åkershem – Dementia Care in Borlänge
Åkershem is a residence adapted for people with dementia, divided into four units: Rosengård, Takåsen, Oasen, and Solsidan. All units have access to a kitchen, dishwashing room, office, staff room, rest room, and common areas.
As an employee, you are expected to be available across the entire Åkershem facility. We place great emphasis on interaction and community. Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities include individualized care work. All employees are offered ombudsman roles, allowing you to create variety in your daily work. Qualifications
Basic requirements:
- Nursing assistant education (Undersköterska)
- Very good oral and written skills in Swedish
- Good oral and written skills in Finnish
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
As a person, you are brave in the face of change, enthusiastic, and positive even when things are tough or occasionally stressful. You have a good ability to collaborate with others and are aware that what we call the workplace is the home of the people of Borlänge. Meritorious qualifications: Dementia education, other healthcare-related education, or experience in care work.
