We at Attendo are now looking for new colleagues who want to join our summer schedule. We have a few shifts left to cover before summer.

About the workplace

Tunagården is a specialized housing facility with approximately 80 apartments. Here, we work together to create a safe, secure, and individualized care environment for our residents. We work based on person-centered care, where the individual's needs, wishes, and conditions are at the center. The operation has a dedicated work team and close collaboration among all staff. Attendo runs the residence on behalf of Borlänge Municipality.

As a nursing assistant here, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during mealtimes is a large part of your role, as well as contributing with activities that brighten up the daily life of our elderly residents.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

  • Personal care according to the facility's routines, starting from the customer's individual needs and wishes.
  • Assisting with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc., as needed.
  • Performing documentation and working based on decided interventions.
  • Collaborating with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Nursing assistant education of at least 1350 credits.
  • Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written).
  • Good computer skills/computer literacy.

Merits:

  • Experience from care work in elderly care.
  • Experience with delegation.
