System Administrator for the Municipal Executive Board in Skövde

Responsibilities

As a System Administrator, you work operationally with one or more systems throughout the entire administration process. You will become a vital part of ensuring stable and purposeful systems, for example in areas such as ERP, Hypergene, and Proceedo, where you combine technical understanding with business value. We work systematically according to an administration model and use Jira as support in planning, follow-up, and prioritization of work.

Examples of tasks:

• Administer, improve, and further develop systems (e.g., ERP, Hypergene, and Proceedo) based on business needs.
• Ensure stable operations, quality, and usability.
• Work with testing, upgrades, and changes.
• Handle and follow up on cases, changes, and improvements in Jira.
• Follow up on incidents, deviations, and improvement needs.
• Participate in and drive improvement initiatives from idea to implementation.
• Collaborate with operations, suppliers, and other IT functions.
• Set requirements for and follow up on suppliers.
• Document methods, changes, and solutions.
• Contribute to and work according to our administration model and common working methods.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• Experience in system administration or similar work.
• Good technical understanding of IT systems and system environments, how they are built and interact.
• Experience in testing, quality assurance, or change management.
• Ability to work systematically and document your work.
• Experience collaborating with several different roles (operations, IT, suppliers).

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience working according to an administration model.
• Experience working in Jira or similar tools.
• Experience in requirements specification and supplier management.
• Experience from public sector operations.
• Knowledge in information security or IT security.
