RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you passionate about care and pedagogy? We are looking for you who want to share your expertise and educate tomorrow's assistant nurses. As a vocational teacher, you are responsible for inspiring and educating our students through both theoretical and practical modules.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Teaching vocational courses such as anatomy, nursing care, and social care
• Planning and grading teaching together with your work team based on course plans, degree objectives, and the Swedish National Agency for Education's guidelines
• Acting as a mentor for the students and supporting them in their personal and knowledge development. Maintaining close dialogue with guardians through development meetings once per term
• Participating in the program's APL (Apprenticeship/Practical Training) work by securing placements and following up on students in the workplaces. Participating in the school's organized meetings, training sessions, study days, and the program's development work
• Collaborating with the industry via program councils and network meetings

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and wishes to combine their care expertise with pedagogical leadership. You are structured, well-planned, and flexible in your approach, and you work well in a group. You have good communication skills, can motivate, create engagement, and foster participation.

Good experience of working within care and social services is a requirement for the position, and pedagogical experience is meritorious. Experience of working within healthcare is also desirable.

We require that you have a driver's license with category B or higher.

Selection and interviews take place on an ongoing basis.
