Medicine C3 is a department in constant development. We can always become better and work smarter – for good and safe care and a good working environment.

We consist of approximately 30 employees; nurses and assistant nurses who care for patients with internal medical diseases. Our main diagnostic groups are kidney and liver diseases, hematology, endocrinology, heart failure, medical gastrointestinal diseases, as well as medical monitoring during intoxication.

At Medicine C3, we work to strengthen teamwork. The combined competence in the team creates the prerequisites for good and safe care with the individual in focus. Several of our development projects aim to strengthen person-centered care, patient safety, and nursing within emergency care.

We actively work to create working methods and routines based on competence and profession – ensuring that everyone feels secure about what is expected of their role.

Your responsibilities

In addition to routine tasks on an acute inpatient ward such as medication management, medical technical procedures, and basic and specific nursing care, the nurse role also includes:

• having a key role in the team regarding the patient
• identifying and planning for the individual's specific nursing needs
• ensuring that the individual's nursing needs are met
• working to involve the patient in their care
• leading the nursing work in the care team
• participating in development projects on the ward
• sharing knowledge and taking part in others' knowledge
• supervising students and colleagues

Who are you?

You are a licensed nurse. If you have experience from medical nursing, we consider it an advantage.

We are looking for you who have personal maturity, self-awareness, are reflective, empathetic, and responsible. You enjoy when things are happening and adapt easily to new conditions. You are a team player but can also lead yourself and others. Contributing to a good work climate and a good psychosocial work environment is obvious to you.
