About Nil Medical
We develop and sell innovative solutions that enable freedom of movement during medical treatment. Standard infusion equipment, such as IV stands and backpacks, restricts patients' mobility and their ability to maintain an active and independent daily life during treatment.
Our product, Nil Medical Vestpack, is a CE-marked medical device that enables freedom of movement during treatment in a safe and secure manner for both children and adults. Freedom of movement and a more active life can lead to higher quality of life, better rehabilitation, and more energy to cope with tough treatment. Nil Medical Vestpack is currently used in approximately ten hospitals in the Nordic region and is being evaluated by many hospitals across Europe.
We are partially owned by Barncancerfonden Impact Invest, accepted into Umeå Biotech Incubators' growth program, and our office is located at Umeå Science Park, Tvistevägen 48.
About the Role
Nil Medical is looking for an engaged Sales Manager with experience in the international sales of medical technology products to healthcare providers. As Sales Manager, you will play a key role in establishing and expanding the Vestpack, primarily internationally. We are a small company with big ambitions, and we see this role as central to the continued development of Nil Medical. As Sales Manager, your main focus will be sales and marketing, but you will also be part of building up the company and contributing where needed. Together, we aim to create a company that truly makes a difference.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive sales to healthcare providers and clinics, both internationally and domestically.
- Contact and visit healthcare professionals and decision-makers to initiate and build long-term customer relationships.
- Represent Nil Medical at trade shows, conferences, and events.
- Develop strategies for market introduction and commercialization in new countries.
- Spread the value of Vestpack and upcoming products to healthcare providers, decision-makers, the general public, and other stakeholders through marketing.
- Build networks with other players in infusion therapy and nutritional support.
- Contribute to internal business development, processes, and organizational growth.
Who Are You?
- You are value-driven and motivated by making a difference.
- You have several years of experience in international sales to the healthcare sector and understand the needs and processes of healthcare providers.
- You are confident in writing, speaking, and giving presentations and holding meetings in English.
- You appreciate both new business development and building long-term relationships.
- You have a good understanding of marketing, market introduction, sales, and brand building.
- You are attracted to being part of a growth journey and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where you take initiative and drive work forward.
- You are unpretentious and willing to help with whatever is needed in a small company.
Qualifications
- Business development experience within medtech, life science, or related industries.
- Experience working in small companies during growth phases.
- Experience working within healthcare.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (CE marking, QMS).
- University education in life science or marketing.
