We are now looking for you who are a teacher for grades 4–6 at Blackstad School.

Blackstad School is a small rural school with approximately 50 students and close collaboration among all staff. As a teacher at the intermediate level, you will work in an integrated grade 4–6 class of 22 students, together with another teacher and a resource person.

Your responsibilities involve planning, implementing, and evaluating work individually and together with other educators at the school, according to the school's governing documents and with our vision in mind. You will lead your own teaching and collaborate closely with other educators in the operation. The role also includes being a mentor.

As a teacher, you work to promote each student's development and learning. You are responsible for building good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You serve as an adult role model for all students at the school.

We are looking for you who have teacher education and teacher certification for grades 4–6. For this position, you need to have a B-driver's license.

To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have good collaboration skills, be receptive, and easily able to put yourself in other people's perspectives. You need to be confident in yourself, stable, and have good self-awareness.

It is important in the role that you have a well-developed pedagogical ability. You have a good understanding of how children and young people acquire knowledge and of different prerequisites for learning. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changed circumstances in the operation.

The positions are subject to register checks. Applicants must provide extracts from the police's criminal record register before employment begins.
