Your Responsibilities

As a property technician at FM-service, you work with our clients within various municipal operations such as schools, preschools, nursing homes, and group homes. You work with the maintenance and supervision of properties in Halmstad Municipality, primarily through preventive maintenance and fault reports. You also work with general operational services, and snow removal and ice control may also occur.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who have completed upper secondary education, preferably supplemented with training in property maintenance. Examples of merit-enhancing training include fire safety inspector, hot work, facility operator fire alarm, electrical safety course, lift certificate for scissor lift, scaffolder, fall protection training/work at heights, as well as locks and burglary alarms.

You are a positive person even when conditions change, and you have good contact with both customers and colleagues. You are careful to follow laws, regulations, and instructions within the operations.

You have experience working as a property technician. It is an advantage if you have work experience in locks and alarms, fire safety, hot work, electricity, plumbing, and repairs. We view it positively if you have experience with municipal property maintenance and have an understanding of, and knowledge about, what it is like to work in the municipal sector. If you have experience working in different types of service operations and are accustomed to working with a clear customer focus, that is also positive.

You have good Swedish language skills in speech and writing and are comfortable using digital tools, for example, for making orders and reporting. A Category B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement.
