Your responsibilities

As a Plant Technician, you will become an important part of the team that ensures the operational safety of our facilities and compliance with food legislation. Your main tasks will be:

  • Operation, supervision, and maintenance work of the drinking water production facilities.
  • Monitoring, optimization, and development of processes.
  • Working according to the established self-control program.

Your qualifications

To thrive in the role of Plant Technician, you should work flexibly and adapt to unforeseen events. Being able to work in a team and having an easy time collaborating with others is important for succeeding in the role. You need to be able to work and act in a systematic, methodical, and reliable manner. Since the work is also of a practical nature, you must enjoy working with your hands. You need to be solution-focused and take responsibility for assigned and delegated tasks.

You should be practical, service-oriented, and have an easy time collaborating, but also have the ability to work independently. You are interested and curious about new knowledge, positive and engaged, and contribute to creating a good work climate. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A suitable background includes previous experience from the operation of water and wastewater treatment plants or process industry. Knowledge in computer-controlled automation, electronics, and control technology is considered advantageous. It is also advantageous if you have a technical education in plant operation with a focus on operation/process, control and regulation technology, or equivalent.

A Category B driver's license and good computer skills are required.
