A new detention building, along with other complementary structures, is currently being constructed on our existing facility in Halmstad. We therefore need to strengthen our operations team with a new colleague who will primarily be based at our Halmstad facility. In this role, you will play a key part in the handover, commissioning, and inspections from the management side, while simultaneously learning and operating the existing facility and its systems.

About the Role

As an Operations Technician at Specialfastigheter, you are a central part of our business, as you have the opportunity to facilitate the daily lives of our clients, who run and maintain society-critical operations and functions. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the daily supervision and operation of our property in Halmstad, although tasks may arise within our entire regional property portfolio. Travel is therefore part of the role.

As an Operations Technician, you will work independently and represent Specialfastigheter daily on your own. Collaboration with clients, technical managers, colleagues, and contractors is a central part of the job. In ongoing facility management, you are responsible for daily operations, corrective maintenance, conducting authority inspections, physical and digital rounds, ordering and following up on performed services, as well as minor customer orders and invoicing.

Examples of tasks included in the role:

• Perform corrective maintenance
• Carry out and follow up on operation optimization measures from an energy and cost perspective
• Conduct systematic fire safety work (SBA)
• Order and participate in mandatory authority inspections and surveys
• Maintain ongoing contact with customers, colleagues, and contractors
• Report and update cases in our case management system
• Conduct other inspections and rounds

About You

To succeed in this role, we believe you have experience in independently performing corrective maintenance and inspections. Additionally, we would like you to have:

• Education in operations technology or equivalent competence acquired in another way
• Previous experience in a role such as operations technician, HVAC technician, electrician, ventilation technician, or another role deemed relevant for the position.
• General good knowledge and understanding of building technical systems and how they interact
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as this is used in daily work.
• Good computer skills and experience with, for example, overarching control systems, case management systems, ordering systems, and invoicing.
• Some experience in the role of a client/orderer and handling warranty cases
• A valid B-driver's license is a requirement

Location

Your placement will be in Halmstad, and you will become part of the Southern Sweden Property Area with a local office in Lund. Travel between properties is included in the role, and since our operations are nationwide, travel outside your area also occurs.
